Master set : 180 cards
What you need to know
Topps FR - Topps UK - Topps US
How do I know the language of my booster?
It is not possible to know the language of a loose booster, the only way to know is to open it or know its origin, which is quite complicated in 2025.
About the translation
The Pokémon names are translated only for the FR & DE versions. The text on the back is translated into all languages.
Foil spoiler alert !
Be careful, the foil is always on the front side of the booster, the back of the card will spoil you directly. It's not like the TCG.
Are the boosters weighable ?
No, European Topps boosters are not weighable. Also, European Topps displays are never sealed.

Do not confuse European Topps and US Topps which are completely different due to the series cards as well as the Nintendo logo and the color of the name on the back of the card (black vs red).
Do rainbow cards exist in France ?
No, officially, they only exist in the US version and are highly prized by collectors.
But in France, we have "error" cards with a more or less pronounced rainbow effect that are quite difficult to "find," like the one below.

Dracaufeu Foil
Dracaufeu Foil effect "Rainbow" ligth
Goupix Foil
Goupix Foil effect "Rainbow" strong
Known defects
Some cards have a green or blue stain on the back of the card like Alakzam which is a known defect.

Rapasdepic Foil
Rapasdepic Foil effect "Rainbow" moderate

Other known defects
A fold on the back in the middle or a printline on the top of the front card are very common on Topps series 1 of the same booster release, especially in French boosters.
Where to grade your Topps?!
PSA remains the undisputed leader and a sure bet for your Topps. In France, CCC is working on a case to hold your Topps in 2026.
Beckett and CGC already have cases available for Topps.
Don't expect to get 10s easily; it's very, very complicated.
7-8-9 are already very nice!

Topps FR duopacks ?!
The answer is yes, this is a "French" Topps Series 1 duo pack. It's hard to know their provenance; they're so rare to see.
According to rumors, this duo pack also exists in a French Topps Series 2, but I can't confirm this information.
