It is not possible to know the language of a loose booster, the only way to know is to open it or know its origin, which is quite complicated in 2025.
About the translation
The Pokémon names are translated only for the FR & DE versions. The text on the back is translated into all languages.
Foil spoiler alert !
Be careful, the foil is always on the front side of the booster, the back of the card will spoil you directly. It's not like the TCG.
Are the boosters weighable?
No, European Topps boosters are not weighable. Also, European Topps displays are never sealed.
Do not confuse European Topps and US Topps which are completely different in terms of the series cards but also in the Nintendo logo.
Multiple prints ?
Indeed, look at the differences between these five French cards. The Pokémon Quagsire and Axoloto weren't translated when Topps Series 3 was released.

PSA remains the undisputed leader and a sure bet for your Topps. In France, CCC is working on a case to hold your Topps in 2026.
Beckett and CGC already have cases available for Topps.
Don't expect to get 10s easily; it's very, very complicated.
7-8-9 are already very nice!
